“You have choices here in Hawaii. Our goal with Malama Eco Products has always been to make the choice to go green with either compostable or biodegradable products as affordable as choosing plastic layered over paper or Styrofoam. We offer luau trays, two sizes of plates, bowls, and we even have take-out containers for the leftovers! Our eco-friendly utensils are made of cornstarch, and will not break off posing a hazard. All these items are fully compostable and will break down based on ASTM D/6400 standards, on average this is six to nine months to breakdown.”
